HUMANE SOCIETY OF PASCO COUNTY       Give Day 2018

We, at the Humane Society of Pasco County, have one mission and that is to save animals and place them in loving forever homes.  Our shelter is run only by volunteers and is completely unfunded allowing us to remain 100% no kill.  This shelter continues to run solely by the generosity of our community donations and the donations of our volunteers when needed.

Our current facility is a 30 year old trailer set on a beautiful piece of property. Just before the holidays in 2017 we had a small fire in the trailer which has increased our need to replace it. Thankfully none of our animals were injured but due to the age and current condition of the trailer it cannot be repaired completely. This fundraiser will not only help us to provide vet care for the animals as they come into our shelter but also help towards the goal of replacing our facility with a newer building. 

If an animal comes into our shelter, as a stray or a surrender, injured or sick, we do all we can to save it at any cost. Sometimes that means exceeding the money we have on hand for vet bills. We are grateful to the veterinary practices that work with us and understand that it's about saving the animal and not the money. Oftentimes our volunteers will reach into their pockets to help with the cost to ensure the care is provided.

We are incredibly grateful and thank each of you in advance for any and all donations made. Every dollar counts and helps us to save the lost, abused or abandoned and give them each the chance at a new happy life! Without you, we could not do what we do.
