Humane Society of Fairfax County Inc

Our aim is to lead the community in the humane treatment of all animals and the enjoyment of companion animals. Together, we can protect animals and promote their humane care; rescue homeless animals and place them in loving homes; and support our community with humane education and assistance.

We have animals from small to extra-large for adoption. We take in dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, ferrets, other small mammals, and horses. They all reside in comfortable, well-tended environments as they await a new home. Your donation will help animals find a new family!

 

We help those in the community who are facing financial challenges with our Ani-Meals Pet Pantry, which provides pet food and supplies to those who qualify. Through this program, we are able to help people keep their pets and decrease the number of pets surrendered to shelters. It’s a huge win for both people and pets. Your donation will help support Ani-Meals!

 

We also reduce pet overpopulation with our feral cat outreach program, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) and helping pet owners obtain low cost spay/neuter services. Your donation can make more unwanted pets less likely!

We offer outreach programs to foster a humane community. We speak to groups of all types and attend community events. Your donation will help us spread the message about the welfare of animals!
