Homeless Veterans Emergency Housing Facility (HVEHF) uniquely combines emergency/treatment beds, transitional housing, and supportive services (such as case management, vocational rehabilitation, mental health and addiction treatment services and housing assistance) in order to serve homeless veterans throughout the Silicon Valley. We are a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization that receives funding from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as charitable funding from community organizations and corporations.

The Veterans Housing Facility will provide outreach to homeless veterans and linkage to VA services. VHF has 25 treatment beds, and 125 transitional housing beds for homeless or near-homeless veterans in need of emergency housing services.

Our facility originally operated out of the Menlo Park Veterans Administration campus for 13 years, but we were forced to relocate in 2011. For a good part of 2012, our program suffered great difficulties in finding a new location, and seemed to be "homeless" itself.  Nevertheless, our loyal staff was determined to find a new campus to continue serving our veteran residents.  Today, we reside in the East Foothills of San Jose, and we ABSOLUTELY LOVE our new location!! We want to permanently lay our roots at our San Jose location and continue to serve the greater Silicon Valley for decades to come.

We are raising funds that will go towards purchasing the property we occupy in San Jose.

In addition, we also plan to expand our reach in the future, by hopefully obtaining funds and community support to accept and aid more veterans into our program. We want to build on what we have by adding 50 more transitional beds for homeless veterans in need, expand our food services to feed more hungry and homeless veterans, and build an up to date computer room where we can help veterans navigate new technology to help them imrpove their employability.

So far we have seen a lot of mighty support and generous love from the Bay Area communities, cities, and residents that surround us. We thank every interested donor for their time and consideration. And to our veterans, we thank you for your service.
