iFoster is a Truckee based national non-profit that provides the resources and opportunities children in foster care need to achieve their potential. 

There are over 437,000 children in foster care, in every community in the country, including ours. These children have the worst outcomes of any at-risk population: 50% will experience homelessness; 50% will be unemployed; 25% will not have completed high school; only 3% will earn their college degree; and 70% will be on government assistance at a cost to society of $1 million per child who never reaches their potential.

iFoster helps provide the small investments every one of these children need to achieve their potential. From eye glasses, to tutoring, to employment training and jobs, iFoster helps bridge the gap between what the foster care system provides, and what an average loving family invests in their children.
