Inland Counties Legal Services Inc

Inland Counties Legal Services (ICLS) is a nonprofit organization that provides legal
information, counsel, advice, innovative self-help services, and in-depth legal
representation in civil cases to low-income individuals and families. Since
1958, ICLS has been the primary provider of such legal services in Riverside
and San Bernardino Counties. ICLS attorneys and paralegals use legal skills to
solve problems in health care, public benefits, housing, family, consumer, education
and employment law. Our vision is to provide legal services to achieve civil
justice for low income people.

For the past 54 years, ICLS has promoted "Equal Access to Justice" through advocacy, legal counseling, innovative self-help services, community education and in-depth legal representation. We provide legal services to help the homeless, disabled, elderly, domestic violence victims and low-income persons.

Our clients are typically at risk of being beaten or abused, or in danger of
becoming homeless through the loss of Social Security or disability benefits,
housing discrimination or unfair eviction. We provide a legal voice for those
who would otherwise be voiceless to defend and protect themselves, their
children, their public benefit entitlements and their access to habitable shelter.

The average cost of filing a legal case and engaging in investigation is about $886. Struggling with cuts in funding, we are relying much more heavily on donations made by individuals. Your help is valued greatly.
