The electronics industry is one of the most chemically intense manufacturing sectors. Many of the workplace hazards and environmental health threats from chemicals exposure first experienced in Silicon Valley are being replicated in factories and surrounding communities in the US, Asia and Latin America.

To confront these challenges there is critical need to build capacity at the grassroots level in these regions. By sharing resources, we help to build the ability of workers, local communities and grassroots organizations to achieve social, environmental, and economic justice.

The International Campaign for Responsible Technology is an international solidarity network to promote corporate and government accountability in the global electronics industry. We accomplish this by training and organizing electronics workers on occupational safety and health and community residents on environmental health.

These trainings are also a stepping stone toward building a powerful international movement that promotes occupational safety and health (OSH) and environmental safety and health (ESH) as a fundamental human right.

Today we are at a critical crossroad. To confront these challenges, we need your help.

Your tax-deductible gift will allow ICRT to join with workers, activists and organizations across the globe to build a global grassroots movement for human rights, environmental justice and sustainability.

We sincerely thank you,

Ted Smith and the ICRT Board
