The IAFP Foundation supports a variety of programs to promote quality health care in Idaho.  Here are some of the programs supported by the IAFP Foundation:

Pre-Med Student Programming:

¯  Organize the Pre-Med Shadow Program for college students interested in a career in medicine

Medical Student Programming:

¯  Family Medicine Interest Group (FMIG) sponsorship through the U/I WWAMI

¯  Rural Underserved Opportunity Program (RUO/P) Sponsor

¯  FMIG programming and support/NCFMR & NCSM Scholarship Support

Family Medicine Resident Programming:

¯  Directly involved in Idaho practice recruitment activities

Tobacco Prevention Programming:

¯  Coordination of the Idaho Tar Wars Program state-wide and work on tobacco prevention initiatives

Family Medicine Practice Transformation:

¯  Continuing Medical Education Programs

¯  Statewide Healthcare Innovation Plan (SHIP)
