Max wakes up to his mother and father bustling around the house as they prepare for the busy day ahead. Money is tight but Max’s parents have found a quality child care center for their son. Like most Idaho families, both of Max’s parents work outside of the home.

Max is dropped off at Maggie’s Center by his father on his way to work. Max is greeted with books, toys, laughing children, and a loving teacher named Maggie. Maggie teaches Max his letters, numbers, and how to play safe and enjoy healthy foods. Through early childhood education training, Maggie has learned about the importance of healthy foods for developing minds and the role educational games can play in learning.  Max's mother picks him up at the end of the day and although he is ready to go home, he is excited to return to Maggie’s Center each day. The educational and social lessons Max experiences in his early years will lay a strong foundation for him to succeed in school and beyond. 

Like Max, every child deserves high-quality early care and education. Like Maggie, every caregiver deserves the same professional development and training that she has received.
