What we do –

The Idaho Dental Foundation (IDF) partners with dentists, community health districts, businesses, other foundations and government leaders to improve oral health statewide through education and service.

The Idaho Dental Foundation (IDF) has been providing grants to Idaho community programs and organizations since 2008.

Who We Are -

The IDF board of directors are unpaid volunteers who meet twice a year and represent all seven dental societies of the ISDA.

Your donations –

We identify good, efficient programs in need of funds. Your donations will support projects that improve the oral health of Idaho’s uninsured and working poor through treatment and education.

You’ll help projects like the Garden City Community Dental Clinic, part of Genesis World Mission. Last year, with a grant from the Idaho Dental Foundation, the clinic saw 198 patients and provided 586 dental visits. Patients received services ranging from health education and cleanings all the way to extractions, fillings and repairs. For every dollar they received, the clinic was able to leverage it for $4 worth of service for patients.

The Face of Oral Health Efforts–

Grace came into the Garden City Community Dental Clinic last year for a missing front tooth. After spending a decade taking care of ailing family members, Grace was ready to get “back into society” both socially and for a career. But, she worried about being accepted because of the condition of her teeth. The clinic was able to repair Grace’s teeth and connect her with a community foundation to pay for a denture to fill in her missing tooth. The Garden City clinic not only restored her teeth, but gave her happiness and self-confidence.
