Are you passionate about education and our environment?  Since 1982, the Idaho Environmental Education Association (IdEEA) has worked with classroom and community educators to connect students with their local environment and community.

Did you know that in one national study of 40 schools, student achievement and environmental literacy improved 92% when courses in math, science, social studies and language arts were linked to the natural world. The study noted that students "academically outperformed peers in traditional programs."

Thousands of Idaho students have become more environmentally literate because of IdEEA's professional development opportunities targeting classroom and community educators.  Students better understand the natural world and our role in it and are more prepared to fulfill 21st-century jobs and make sustainable decisions for the future.
