Idaho Falls Historic Downtown Foundation Inc

IFHDF goals are to combat community deterioration, educate the public about the history, architecture, and culture of this area. Our main goal is to keep the downtown alive and vibrant. We encourage residents and visitors to appreciate and enjoy the downtown. 

We are involved in several projects such as the hanging flower baskets, ‘Art You Can Sit On’ benches that are found throughout the downtown and on the greenbelt, organizing volunteers to plant flowers in the planters, support the Japanese Friendship Garden, plaques for historic buildings that are on the National Register of Historic Places, and other downtown activities and improvements.
