The Foundation provides the community with a number of  services aimed at alleviating suffering in Idaho and Eastern Oregon

The Idaho Lions Eye Bank, which obtains, medically evaluates and distributes corneal eye tissue in the United States and around the world.  Yearly, close to 300 people are given the gift of sight through the Eye Bank.

The Personal Healthcare Assistance program provides financial assistance for sight restoring surgeries and hearing aids to those in need.

The Idaho Lions Vision Clinic is a newly established clinic that provides eye care to low income individuals who lack vision insurance and are unable to afford an eye exam and pair of prescription eyeglasses.  The goal of the Clinic is to provide quality eye care to our community.

The Community Health Screening program allows Lions Clubs, community organizations and schools to use the Foundations screening technology to provide free health screenings around the community.  The Foundation can provide equipment to provide both hearing and vision screenings to detect if further medical evaluation is required.

The Eyeglass Recycling and Hearing Aid Bank allow the Foundation to provide medical mission teams with eyeglasses when they travel around the world providing healthcare.  Locations our donated eyeglasses have gone include Honduras, Belize, Rwanda and Peru.  The Hearing Aid bank allows the people to donate lightly used hearing aids to be refurbished and distributed back into the community.
