Identity’s mission is to advance Alaska’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community through advocacy, education and connectivity. 

With Anchorage’s only LGBTQ+ focused community center, Identity empowers LGBTQ+ youth and engages the community in LGBTQ+ centered programs. We provide resources and information to hundreds of LGBTQ+ people and allies every year. We are there for people who have nowhere else to turn. 

Identity Health Clinic opened in spring 2021 as Alaska’s first-ever nonprofit LGBTQ-focused clinic to address the gap in sexuality-affirming and gender-affirming healthcare.

In addition, Identity offers LGBTQ+ cultural humility presentations to businesses and organizations to create a more positive and safe environment for LGBTQ+ people in Alaska. Identity also advocates for the LGBTQ+ community through collaborations, partnerships and representation on community committees and task forces.

With your support, Identity, Inc. will continue to provide needed programming for LGBTQ+ people across Alaska, creating resources for LGBTQ+ youth and elders, and building leadership within the LGBTQ+ community in Alaska
