Ihhelpp-Improving Housing Health Education & Livelihood of the Poor

IHHELLP (Improving Housing Health Education & Livelihood of the Poor) is a non-profit organization created to help raise the quality of life to millions of Filipinos.  

Currently IHHELPP is focusing on two objectives to improve Filipino livelihood: building disaster proof homes and building a university to encourage further education.

The Philippines is always a threat to devastating natural disasters. On Dec. 6 this past year Typhoon Hagupit hit the nation, which caused one million Filipinos to flee their cities and homes.  

Because of the constant incoming of natural disasters, and limited resources, the Philippines is in desperate need of over 6 million homes. 

IHHELPP has teamed up with Thermastay to provide the Philippines with disaster proof homes.  These homes can withstand almost any earthquake or natural disaster.  By providing the wonderful Filipino people with these homes, we will help prevent the nation from horrible damages, economically and socially, the next time a disaster strikes.

IHHELPP received a generous donation from Adobe to construct two pilot disaster-proof homes.  These homes were built successfullyby local Boy Scouts in the matter of 1.5 days.  As you can see, we all can truly make a difference for the nation of the  Philippines... and fast.

IHHELPP has also received donated land to construct a university and hospital.  Many Filipinos don't have the opportunity to pursue higher education inside or outside of the country.  This university will provide thousands of citizens with the opportunity to educate themselves, as well as providing an avenue for keeping the brightest minds to stay in the country and use their education to better the nation.

IHHELPP wants to provide the Filipino people with the tools necessary to create a sustainable livelihood by their own power.  By providing disaster proof housing and a university, your donation will enable these wonderful people to take their life into their hands and create something good.
