Here in Illinois, we have a rich Midwestern culture of hard working, proud, innovative people. From Chicago to Carbondale and everywhere in between, we are all working to build a more sustainable future.
We believe that Illinois can be known as a leader in sustainability, and known for smart business. With resources and the right information, the opportunities for ways a business operate green are endless – but businesses need guidance and leadership to implement these strategies. The Illinois Green Business Summit: Ingredients for Change is the bridge to make green happen!
We have an opportunity to be a leader for doing business sustainably. Let’s work together to make Illinois the greenest state for doing business.
The Summit is the epicenter where all of these people are coming together from around the state to talk about these issues and focus on the Ingredients for Change.
The Event: The Illinois Green Business Summit: Ingredients for Change
The Illinois Green Business Association will host the second annual Illinois Green Business Summit: Ingredients for Change, featuring L. Hunter Lovins as the keynote speaker, eight panels, workshops, networking opportunities and more.

The Illinois Green Business Association is committed to having green business become THE standard of business in Illinois.
“The Illinois Green Business Summit offers a valuable opportunity for regional businesses to connect with each other, and learn from leading sustainability professionals. I was very impressed with the keynote speakers, panel discussions and presentations from their first annual summit in 2012 and am looking forward to attending in 2013!” -Scott Zintz, Sustainability Strategist, Independent Stationers
