Illinois Patriot Education Fund

DeVry is matching dollar-for-dollar up to $5,000 to help us reach our goal of $10,000 for #GivingTuesday.

MISSION: "Illinois Patriot Education Fund provides scholarships, educational opportunities and mentoring to post 9/11 Illinois military families." This includes the spouse and children. We cover the gap in tuition that is not covered by the Post 9/11 GI Bill to prevent the veteran family from going into further debt. 

Our veterans and their families need increased support from each of us. They need a mission when they return home. For many, higher education through college or certified vocational training — and then a career can be the mission that changes their lives. Our veterans need the highest level of support services including healthcare, education and career opportunities. This is too much for the government alone to take on. Illinois Patriot Education Fund helps solve this problem with funding from donors like you, organizations like DeVry and foundation grants.
