Imagine Foundation

Out & About, a division of Imagine!, provides therapeutic services to children and adults with developmental disabilities. 

We are excited to help our participants exercise and fun while doing it! The wishlist items are specifically designed for individuals who require extra stimulation and support. Raising $900 will allow us to implement 8 different one hour classes. The items will also give us the flexibility to set up shop anywhere and teach a lesson using just the equipment. Rec Center passes and gym rental expenses add up and limit a non profit like us to use the fancy equipment. 

Our wish list includes (see images above)

Tumbling Mat: Allowing participants who use wheelchairs to lay or sit on the mat if the activity is on a hard surface

Low Density Foam Balls: Soft and squishy yet hard to pull apart. These durable and sensory toys are great to squeeze and pull on when stimulated. A good alternative to using a football or basketball and provide low risk since they are soft.

Senso Dot Balls: Provide sensory touch with different textures and the ability to be squeezed. Great for when participants need to take a break from the group and have something to play with and manipulate while calming down. 

Sports Kit: This kit allows us to set up shop in any field or gym. Participants will develop gross motor skills, sportsmanship and knowledge of a certain sport. 

Yoga Mats

Activity Band: Encourages participants to cooperate with one another and develop balance and strength. 

Latex Free Tension Bands: This item allows instructors to facilitate strength conditioning without having to go to the gym.
