Impact Silver Spring

IMPACT specializes in leveraging the power of networks to support people as they build social, economic, and civic assets that help create a strong local economy and thriving public square. We do this within the context of tapping the power of diversity for positive community change.

IMPACT’s Primary Projects are:

The Neighborhood Opportunity Network which is a cross-sector initiative in direct response to the current economic crisis, reforming social service delivery to isolated low-income residents.

The Long Branch Athletic Association Program which uses youth engagement and the convening power of sports to build thriving neighborhoods. 

The Family Asset Building Network which is a network of people and institutions organized to exchange resources and value to support cohorts of family as they work towards long-term economic stability.

The IMPACT Montgomery Institute, which is still in the developmental phase.  The Institute will soon provide training, coaching, and technical assistance to communities and institutions that are committed to building a thriving, multicultural community in Montgomery County.
