Imperial Neighborhood Park Association

The Imperial Park is a new pocket park located in the Sugar House area of Salt Lake City.   In 2015, following a seven year grassroots fundraising effort by the neighborhood, an empty lot became a much used and much loved park.  The property was donated by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and park construction was paid for by Salt Lake City.

It is a very young park and as such the trees are still quite small and do not provide much shade.  The playground areas are completely exposed to the sun, rendering the equipment and area too hot for use during the hot summer days. 

We have a goal of $5000 to help pay for shade structures for the playground area.  Please help us get this much needed amenity for the park.
