Every dollar raised will provide financial aid to qualified students at our 12 member private nonprofit colleges and universities in Maryland:

Capitol Technology University, Goucher College, Hood College, Johns Hopkins University, Loyola University Maryland, McDaniel College, Mount St Mary's University, Notre Dame of Maryland University, Stevenson University, St John's College, Washington Adventist University, and Washington College

Support a trusted and secure philanthropic option… For 60 years, the Independent College Fund of Maryland (the I-Fund) has been providing support to Maryland’s Independent colleges and universities. The I-Fund staff has extensive experience in the administration of scholarships and student learning initiatives. Its vibrant and active Board of Directors works closely with them to ensure responsible management of all contributions.

Make an investment in tomorrow… A gift to the I-Fund ensures a strong return in the form of a quality workforce and exceptional business leaders for the future.

Support schools that foster independent thinkers and value-based members of their communities… I-Fund students volunteer more than 250,000 hours with agencies and organizations in their communities each year.

Support CHOICE in higher education for Marylanders… Attending a Maryland Independent college is possible for students from ALL economic circumstances.

Support LEARNING at independent colleges…the average student-faculty ratio is 12:1

Support higher education that is working… Maryland’s independent colleges and universities have the highest four-year graduation rates in the state.  Graduating students in four years saves money for students, parents, and taxpayers.  Maryland’s employers hire these students sooner!

One gift becomes 12… One single unrestricted gift can be pooled with others and dispersed to students at all I-Fund member colleges and universities and the over 58,000 students they serve.
