Inland Valley Council of Churches, dba Inland Valley Hope Partners, has been building hope for homeless and no or low income families in the the Inland Valley since 1968. Through our four food pantries, emergency shelter and other supportive services, families and individuals in crisis find hope once again and are empowered to break the cycles of poverty and despair.

Inland Valley Hope Partners serves more than 80,000 men, women and children in need each year.  Our core programs include:

Food Security Program - Hope Partners operates four food security sites located in the cities of Ontario, Pomona, San Dimas and Claremont. Here, low and no income and homeless individuals and families are provided a five-day supply of food every 30 days.  Other supportive services, such as information and referrals, rental and utility assistance and motel vouchers may also be available as funding permits.

Housing Program - The Our House Shelter is a 30-90 day program providing emergency housing for homeless single women and families with children. We collaborate with several local organizations to provide our residents with services including counseling, tutoring, budgeting and employment readiness training.

Healthy Living Program - With the goal of bringing quality, nutritious produce to the families we serve, Inland Valley Hope Partners operates the Pomona Valley Certified Farmers' Market, Constantine Family Orchard and Garden and the Gleaning Hope Program.

  • The Pomona Valley Certified Farmers' Market provides a forum for local family farmers to sell fresh fruits and vegetables to an average of 700 shoppers each Saturday morning.  We are the only farmers' market to accept food stamps and WIC couplons (including Senior WIC). The market is an inexpensive way for low income families to eat healthy produce.
  • The Constantine Family Orchard and Gardens was started by a local family to benefit Inland Valley Hope Partners. The garden is maintained by the Constantine family and a team of volunteers and all produce harvested is donated to our residential shelter and food pantry clients.
  • The Gleaning Hope program pairs volunteers (students, youth groups, etc.) with local residents who wish to donate fruit from the trees in their yard.  The volunteers pick the ripe fruit from the donors' trees and deliver it to the food pantries to be distributed to the families we serve.

Inland Valley Hope Partners is proud to be a collaboration that brings together faith communities, businesses, individuals and other community groups to care for people living in poverty. We depend upon donors and volunteers to make our programs possible. Every year, more than 200 volunteers donate over 30,000 hours to Hope Partners to help support the programs that help transform lives in our community.

Please help Inland Valley Hope Partners continue its essential services to the hungry and homeless in the Inland Valley.  Your donation of $10, $25, $100 or more will enable us to restore hope and transform the lives of individuals and families living in poverty.

Thank you for your support! And please don't forget to spread the word about Give BIG SBC and Inland Valley Hope Partners' page with those in your social network.

God Bless!
