The mission of Life with Cancer is to enhance the quality of life of those affected by cancer by providing information, education and support. This is accomplished through the delivery of evidence-based programs to adults, children, and families affected by cancer, at no cost, and regardless of where treatment is received.

Life with Cancer is staffed by experienced professionals in the field of oncology and also partners with medical professionals, certified yoga instructors, meditation instructors, and a certified oncology fitness instructor, as well as registered dieticians and nutritionists.

Your donation will go towards our $85,000 goal to renovate the current Life with Cancer space to create a comfortable, welcoming and “home-like” environment.

Specifically your donation will support this transformative project in these areas:

* Group Room: $30,000
* Study: $25,000
* Entry: $15,000
* Office/Consult 1: $7,500
* Office/Consult 2: $7,500

Most importantly, philanthropy will ensure that patients and families faced with cancer in the Alexandria area will have the resources of Life with Cancer at no cost and close to home – to enhance their quality of life through information, education and the unique support provided by the program.
