Institute for Creative Community Initiatives

This year, the Institute for Creative Community Initiatives (ICCI) is participating in the Young, Black, & Giving Back Institute's Give 8/28 national day of giving explicitly focused on supporting Black-led and Black-benefitting organizations like the ICCI!

Founded on April 14, 2008, the Institute for Creative Community Initiatives (ICCI), a Women-Owned, Black-Owned U.S. based 501(c)3 non-profit organization, began its dream and mission to strengthen underserved communities through programs that inspire, empower, and sustain healthier lifestyles. Over the years, ICCI's robust community-inspired programs continue to provide innovative, groundbreaking coaching and mentorship to young, inspiring entrepreneurs and scholars and address health inequalities through designing and implementing data-driven multicultural health initiatives.

ICCI's Three Main Pillars:

• The Dove School: Economic Empowerment Education and Training provides transitional youth (aged between 16 to 24 years old) entrepreneurial skills and employment training!
• The Innovation Center for Multicultural Health Initiatives focuses on improving the quality of care for priority populations throughout the United States and abroad. Our goal is to design, develop, and deliver innovative health policy-driven solutions that focus on building capacity in communities to promote positive, healthy outcomes.
• Youth Empowerment Series (YES) Mentoring Program provides a free-to-charge leadership-focused mentorship program to inspiring young leaders residing within Prince George's County, Maryland.
