Institute for Human Resources and Services

The
Institute for Human Resources and Services (IHRS) is a local agency located in Kingston,
Pa Celebrating 50 years of providing services. We provide services to individuals with intellectual disabilities, and also provide foster care and adoption services.  Our clients with intellectual disabilities reside in community living arrangements with their peers and
our dedicated staff assist them with the functions of everyday life.  Our mission is to provide a homelike
atmosphere within a semi-structured community setting that enable the clients
to attain their individual potential. 
This includes supporting the clients in their everyday lives by
providing them with choice, control, stability, safety and freedom.
