Interfaith Community Services of South Carolina

We build strong families and communities by ensuring home day care providers in impoverished areas provide and promote good nutrition, safety, literacy development and physical activity so the children in their care will thrive. We collaborate with faith and other community partners in this endeavor to improve the quality of life in South Carolina.

We deliver training, technical assistance and resources to home day care providers, 95% of whom are caring for children in impoverished communities. The training and resources address nutrition, nutrition education, literacy, safety and physical activity. This support helps over 100 home day care providers deliver high quality care for the approximately 800 children they serve ages 0 to 12 years old.
