The International Justice Resource Center was founded in 2011 by human rights defenders committed to increasing access to the protections provided by international human rights standards and the bodies that enforce them.

Our mission is to advance human rights protection around the world by empowering individuals and organizations to use engagement with international human rights system to: raise awareness of injustices and inequalities, give victims an opportunity to be heard, and achieve accountability and reform.

Since our founding, we have provided direct assistance to advocates around the world, created uniquely valuable videos and other instructional materials, trained over 50 human rights advocates, and fostered discussion of the protections offered by the international system.

Our small team, with the support of our directors and advisors, works tirelessly to assist human rights defenders in bringing about real reform in their communities and countries. Please help us reach the courageous, pioneering advocates who most need our help!
