We use audio storytelling to inspire a more just world.

International Media Project produces Making Contact, an award-winning, nationally syndicated radio show and podcast featuring narrative storytelling and thought-provoking interviews. We cover the most urgent issues of our time and the people on the ground building a more just world.

Our vision is a just and thriving world based on collective healing and interdependence. We embrace the human experience in all its complexity. Through the power of storytelling, we strive to bridge divides, challenge dominant narratives, and empower communities to engage in meaningful action.

As journalists committed to truth, we honor the rich wisdom and lived experience of historically oppressed and marginalized communities. With each episode, we seek to challenge harmful power structures and move towards the future we envision.

Movements begin with the telling of stories. Making Contact is the only nationally syndicated radio series that covers the stories of change-makers from the ground up.

We train independent journalists and community members in radio skills, improving popular access to the media. Through our community collaborations, International Media Project increases the media capacity of community groups and helps amplify the voices of those working and organizing for social justice.
