Families throughout Silicon Valley are raving about the many benefits of iSing, enabling us to nearly triple in size in two years time.

iSing is an dynamic arts organization committed to the choral music education of girls in grades 1-12. iSing fosters artistry, leadership and community in a creative and supportive environment.

 

“We believe that singing teaches young people to strive for excellence, to work collaboratively, and to become passionate members of their communities. iSing is ‘just for girls’ because we want to encourage girls to develop their potential as leaders, creators, and performers through music.”

 

 

iSing cares deeply about ensuring that girls from all backgrounds who love to sing have access to music enrichment. From day one, iSing has offered an extensive scholarship program. But beyond tuition assistance we know that time, distance, and transportation are also barriers for many families.

 

iSing@School– Every Girl Deserves a Voice

 

This is why we are launching, iSing@School, a free choral program for girls in underserved communities beginning with a focus on Redwood City and East Palo Alto. We have one elementary school partnership ready to launch in fall of 2015. iSing@School will consist of the same high quality curriculum that all iSing girls enjoy: an academic year of rehearsals with our outstanding music educators and conductors; music reading and vocal instruction; movement, instruments and creative games; and winter and spring concerts.

 

We need your help to make this exciting initiative happen. On May 5 our goal is to raise $2,500 in starter funds to launch iSing@School. While we have received in-kind donations for rehearsal space, snacks, and large instruments, we need funding to support essential elements of the program. Every $10, $25, and $100 donation matters enormously to this effort. Please join us in offering superb musical enrichment to girls in our community!
