Journey Through Forever

Journey Through Forever serves homeless, runaway and transitional youth that are in crisis by providing emergency shelter, mental health and educational support, mentoring, job readiness, and transitional living planning.

Our Basic Center Program(BCP) will serve youth ages 15-21 who are in an active crisis as evidenced by being homeless, runaway, or in the transition from the custody of a state entity such as DCFS and OJJ. JTF has community connections to have residents connected to mental health and physical health services through the local clinics. JTF plans to have a program for residents that allow residents to participate in training in the hospitality industry in efforts to gain long-term employment in the City of New Orleans. JTF's transitional living skills program will house transitional youth and teach them basic life skills such as strategies to increase self-help skills, communication skills, social skills, and academic skills needed to prepare them for success within the school and community setting
