Jack County Museum Association

A nonprofit organization

The Jack County Museum is excited to be participating in Texhoma Gives.  We are in the process of renovations and remodeling of several of our buildings, so that we will have better facilities for our patrons to enjoy our collections. We are planning to host events to highlight the rich history of Texas with a particular emphasis on Jack County, including lectures and presentations by authors and historians, and educational programs for children and adults.  Renovation projects that are planned or underway include completion of interior renovations of the Tom Marks house, painting and repairing the exterior of the Marks house, window repairs and replacements, new HVAC systems for 2 buildings, extensive repair to the exterior of the Powell cabin, and renovation of the Rayburn annex to house our military artifacts.  We recently acquired additional land for parking that will require some improvements.
