Arc of Jackson County

Our most recent success story is a gentleman who moved from his mother's home into a group home and chose to receive life skills and vocational training at The Arc.  From there his goal was to obtain a job in the community and move into his own apartment.  He was supported to obtain a job at a local industry where he works 5 hours a day, 5 days a week.  He has maintained this job for approximately one year and in the last month has realized his goal of moving into his own apartment.  He was able to reach his goals because of the training, supported employment and supported living services that The Arc provides.  He is now a productive, working member of our community.
