Jansen Art Center

Since opening in  2012, the Jansen Art Center has been a place for artists to create, teach, shrae, and engage the community in the arts. 

We operate 6 artist studios - textiles, ceramincs, painting, dance, music and jewelry.  

In addition to our visual art exhibitions and performance committees, the 6 studios are operated by artists and volunteers with the goal of providing classes and open studio opportunities for emerging and new artists, arranging public performances, art exhibitions and special events.  

We offer over 75 art classes for students of all ages, host over 20 music performances and introduce over 300 kids to arts through our Kids Do Art! programs each year.  

We have three art galleries in our building, along with our studio rooms, music reheasal rooms, a Gallery Shop where we sell over 50 regional artists work, a cafe and piano lounge, where we offer free music performances twice a week for the community.  

We depend on the donations of individuals and businesses to keep our class fees and ticket prices low, to help us provide the level of experiences to benefit both our artists and our community.
