The Gibbons Need Us and We Need the Gibbons
Javan gibbons are lesser apes endemic to javan island in Indonesia. They are famous for their 🎶 singing 🎶 throughout the forest. They are also known as forest farmers. Unfortunately, for their cute looks, baby javan gibbons are often taken from the forest illegally to be made as pets. And for every baby taken, a family of gibbons would also be gone. Either from trying to protect the baby or suffer depression from losing one.
That is why the population keeps decreasing. There are only around 2000-4000 individuals of gibbons remaining in Javan Island.
That’s where Javan Gibbon Foundation through Javan Gibbon Center comes in. Javan Gibbon Foundation focuses on:

Meet Nitnot and Chepi, the pair was released last year in Mount Puntang after years of rehabilitation in Javan Gibbon Center. Lately, our monitoring team found out that they just had a baby. A baby born after the gibbons being released is good news. It indicates that the area is suitable for gibbons to live, they are able to reproduce. Therefore, we need to keep monitoring and patrolling the area from threats.
In order to do that and to help the gibbons in our rehabilitation center, we need at least $1500. The amount of donation you give could:
Will you donate to help us reach our goal and help the gibbons?
The gibbons need us and we need the gibbons. Healthy gibbons for healthy forest and healthy humans. Let their song be singing freely in the forest.
