The demand for financial aid has increased dramatically. In 2014, we gave out more than $125,000 in support. We only raised $45,000 to support this effort. 

Here's one example of how your support helps provide an enriched life for our youngest children.

Janie is highly allergic to eggs, nuts, milk and strawberries. Her severe allergies make her a high risk that many pre schools are unable or unwilling toaccommodate. Janie’s parents sought out an early childhood program that could not only accommodate her medical needs but would also provide a loving and nurturing environment. Janie’s mother first visited the Debroah Koenig EarlyChildhood Center during the summer; she loved what she saw. But the cost of the school was out of the family’s’ price range. Janie’s family had never asked for aid before and were reluctant to do so. After seeking out other options that could also meet their child’s needs, Janie’s parents came back to the J.

Financial aid provided this family a safe, quality, nurturing environment where their child could achieve success.
