Jeena

Jeena had very humble beginnings. A mother planted a kernel to address her isolation and give meaning to her daughter's life.  Sisteen years later her legacy becomes Jeena- Because Special Needs Require Special Attention. Currently Jeena has 600 members.

Jeena empowers individuals with developmental disabilities here in the Bay Area and Southern CA. Our children have helped define a path for the activities at Jeena.  From January of each year, children and young adults engage in classes which culminate in the showcase of their talents at our annual event in April/May. After the annual event our focus shifts to involving our children in our community. We believe every individual has a right to be a member of our community.

Our center in Milpitas, CA offers a friendly and safe environment for children, youth and young adults to learn life skills that are necessary for self-care and constructive relationship.
