Jefferson Dollars for Scholars

The mission of Jefferson Dollars for Scholars is to support academically and financially deserving students in Jefferson Parish Schools by providing pathways to educational advancement. Our vision is that all Jefferson Parish Schools students, from kindergarten through college, have equitable opportunities to achieve their goals for educational achievement and lifetime success.

For over 30 years, Jefferson Dollars for Scholars has paved the way for educational advancement for Jefferson Parish Schools students. We support Jefferson Parish Schools students by providing college scholarships, laptops for scholarship recipients, summer enrichment opportunities for Kindergarten through 8th grade students, and National Merit test preparation courses.

We advocate that nurturing early educational curiosity lays the groundwork for continued education through post-secondary completion.

With a K-16 approach, we actively involve, invest in, engage, and unite families, the school system, the business community, and the wider community to collectively provide opportunities that benefit Jefferson Parish Schools students.
