Jesus Luzardo Family Foundation Inc

Jesus Luzardo (Jr) is blessed to fulfill his childhood dreams to become a Major League Baseball pitcher, currently playing for the Miami Marlins. He is passionate about leveraging his platform to help those causes close to his heart in our Miami and South Florida community. At an early age he experienced first hand how kids in underserved communities, enjoy playing sports despite the lack of resources, equipment, etc. as well as he watched how some of his friends, which were kids with special needs, struggled to be accepted by other kids, and be integrated in social activities.

So he decided to establish the foundation to help and support specific programs with non profit organizations in Miami-Dade and South Florida focused on these two populations, children and individuals with special needs and youth in underserved communities.

The foundation was recently established but Jesus has been supporting these causes through individual contributions, donations and support to WOW Center Miami, Arc Broward, Boys & Girls Club, Challenger Little League, and many others.

The foundation is working with several Non Profit organizations like those mentioned above to identify and fund specific programs with quantifiable impact to maximize the benefit of the funds raised, like sensory rooms for children with special needs or special screen boards for classrooms in this type of institutions, financial education and development for children in underserved communities, specific sports programs to develop physical abilities as well as social interaction, etc.

With your contribution we will be able to support these programs and more. One of the upcoming events organized by the foundation is the 1st Jesus Luzardo Foundation Golf Classic to be held at Parkland Golf and Country Club, January 13th, 2025 to raise funds towards selected programs through the foundation.
