The Center for Jewish Culture and Creativity advances Jewish culture through the fiscal sponsorship of independent projects in Jewish and Israeli arts, culture, and media. A nonprofit organization under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, the CJCC receives and administers the funds donated to those independent projects.
The Center was founded in 1990 by John and Ruth Rauch. It has always taken an especial interest in the cultural life of Israel as part of its mission of service to creative artists. Fiscal sponsorship is extended to projects that align with its mission of furthering artistic and cultural creativity, as distinct from primarily religious, educational, or social-welfare activities.
