Jewish Family Services of Silicon Valley empowers individuals and families facing life’s challenges by providing quality human services inspired by Jewish values.

Since our inception in 1977, we have remained committed to our vision that children, adults, and families in our community have access to affordable and meaningful professional services that help give them a better life.

JFS SV is committed to the core values of:

TRANSFORMING LIVES AND RESTORING HOPE

JFS SV feeds hungry people…clothes needy families…comforts isolated elders…guides troubled parents and children…welcomes newcomers…and restores calm to thousands of people each year.  Our staff of seasoned professionals are experts in their respective fields, working to strengthen and enhance the lives of our clients, whatever challenges they face.

Our Project N.O.A.H. services provide emergency food and household assistance, counseling and case management to families and adults in financial crisis.  JFS SV’ refugee resettlement and Connections to Work programs give grateful families a new beginning and helps them get their first jobs in America.  Our Senior Services Department provides guidance and emergency support to holocaust survivors and other seniors seeking to remain independent at home.  People of all ages – preschoolers through those in their 90’s - find meaning through myriad volunteer activities that warm their hearts.
