Junior League of Las Vegas Inc

The Junior League of Las Vegas, Inc. (JLLV) is a non-profit organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.  The JLLV is committed to enhancing the education, health, and welfare of women and children in Southern Nevada.

The Junior League of Las Vegas, Inc. reaches out to women of all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and a commitment to voluntarism. 

For the past 68 years the Junior League of Las Vegas has worked to make a mark on the Las Vegas community. Through volunteer work and financial support we have contributed to the development of many community programs, including: Lied Discovery Children’s Museum, Shade Tree Shelter, HELP of Southern Nevada, and the Ronald McDonald House.  In addition to supporting other organizations, our programs and projects offer much needed support to the community. Some of our major programs and initiatives are:

• JLLV Garden Project - improve, support, and create healthy, teaching gardens in Clark County School District elementary schools.
• Kids in the Kitchen - providing nutrition classes and events to the community to address the urgent issues surrounding childhood obesity and poor nutrition. 
• Fashion Forward- community education outreach providing Clark County School District high school students with the opportunity to design, create, and showcase their fashion inspirations.
• Education Grants- providing critically needed funding to Clark County School District educators to implement unique projects to improve student's learning experience. 
• Care Fair- organizes and implements health fairs providing free medical examinations and after care to underprivileged members of our community.
