John & Orpha Wise Family Vision To Learn

The John and Orpha Wise Family Vision to Learn Fund is an endowed fund established by Steven and Elaine Kahler and Ron Kahler in honor of their grandparents.  The purpose of the Fund is to support the mission of Vision to Learn in Jackson County, Iowa.  Vision to Learn provides a mobile lab equipped with an optometrist, an optician, and the necessary equipment to provide eye examinations to students in each of the school districts in Jackson County.  After the eye exams are completed, a student who needs glasses selects two pairs of frames from the inventory maintained by Vision to Learn.  Two pairs of prescription glasses are subsequently provided to the student by Vision to Learn, one pair stays at school and the other pair goes home with the student.  There is no charge to the student's family for the services and glasses provides by Vision to Learn.
