We Unleased educational tools to "Help A Child Learn!"

The Joseph Learning Lab was established in 2015 and served hundreds of underserved children, who struggleed with learning challenges!

After seeing far too many children being left behind the learning curve, it was time to step up.  Knowing that a community can be measured by the importance that it places on the growth of its children, we became that community (Join Us)!  We connect with staff/administrators, parents and youth in the Long Beach Unified School District, and surrounding communities who need additional support.  We have helped more than 400 underserved children catch up and reach grade level and above. 

Outcomes!

Served hundreds of underserved children K-12 who struggle with reading, math, and other core courses to get caught up (post pandemic). 

After school tutoring program:

Over 150 tutor volunteers, were matched to the learning and social development needs of students over five years

Over 400 underserved children caught up from falling behind in reading, math and other core courses over five years

Summer enrichment sessions:

Qualified teachers at the Joseph Learning Lab helped hundreds of students progress with school classroom courses, curbed summer learning loss and be prepared for the upcoming school year

Recreation activities with fun games and activities to help remedy the nation's childhood obesity and helath issues

Meal provisions for hundreds of food insecure families 

Parent-Student engagement skill sessions encouraged more family involvement in their child's education and behavior

Board of Directors are dedicated to the cause and are uniquely qualified to move the organization forward and sustain operations at the Joseph Learning Lab
