WHO WE ARE - At the core of JTLA is a group of artists, educators, and creative entrepreneurs from a range of artistic disciplines, who are committed to providing arts opportunities to all members of our community.

Our dedicated crew has pledged a commitment to creating stability and sustainability in everything we do. We are financially responsible, develop programs that are in alignment with our mission, and ensure that our programs are accessible to the community at large.
WHAT WE DO - Current and past programs have included: 
Keith Haring Project at 29 Palms ElementaryArtists in Schools Program, Community Workshops, Collaborative Arts Installations with local artists and organizations, Kids Music Programs, Art Auctions with 50/50 split with JTLA and local artists, Author Sponsorship, Artist Liason, Summer Arts Youth Camp taught by local artists, Living Arts Cooperative Gallery, Joshua Tree Music Festival Arts and Kids programming.
Sanctuary - Collaborative Art Project done by veterans alongside JTLA, Miltree, and JTMF.JTLA was recently selected by a group of local arts leaders to guide the implementation of the Morongo Basin Strategic Plan for Culture and Arts. JTLA will work in partnership with local arts organizations, government agencies, and businesses to achieve the plan’s established goals: 1) Expand cultural equity, 2) Build professional capacity for artists and organizations, 3) Grow arts education, and 4) Collaboratively market our cultural resources. This plan is a living document - a springboard for the Joshua Tree communities to begin addressing the needs of this growing arts and culture destination. See more here!
