The Joy Bus

The Joy Bus Meal Delivery Program is dedicated to improving the quality of life of homebound cancer patients and aiding in the healing process by delivering fresh, healthful meals, a strong social support system, and nutrition education at NO COST to the client. Our mission is to eradicate patient malnutrition while improving patient mental health factors through our extensive social support system. A delicious meal created with organic non-GMO produce is delivered each week to our clients by a compassionate volunteer in eco-friendly, chemical free packaging and a paper bag decorated by a community member. Tucked into each bag is an informational sheet on the nutritional power of the ingredients used in their fight against cancer. To date, our program has provided over 6,000 meals and it is the only program of its kind to uniquely meet these crucial needs in our area.
