Our Mission

The Jackson Street School PTO is a non-profit organization made up of the families/caregivers, teachers and staff of our school. Our mission is:

• To strengthen the JSS Community by establishing and maintaining a working relationship between families/caregivers, school and community and by empowering families/caregivers to get directly involved in their student’s school. 
• To enhance the educational experience by supporting academic and enrichment activities.
• To improve the environment at our school by providing volunteer and financial support.

The PTO provides assistance to teachers within the classroom settings, raises funds for educational materials and experiences, advocates school and family social interaction, and provides an unbiased forum for sharing information on issues that impact our students and our community.
