Anne Stirba Cancer Foundation

The Anne Stirba Cancer Foundation (ASCF) is a Utah-based 501c3 Charity dedicated to saving and supporting women with breast cancer by funding independent, cutting-edge breast cancer research at Huntsman Cancer Institute and helping with the hardship these women face when challenged with fighting this difficult disease.    

As women and their families struggle with the emotional and financial effects of this illness, ASCF strives to offer assistance and support during this challenging time.  ASCF's "Helping with Hardship" program is unique because no other resources, such as insurance or community programs, exist to meet many urgent needs for women and their families.  Your financial support can provide gas cards for women to travel long distances for oncology treatment and Grocery gift certificates for women to feed their families when their money and savings have been spent paying for life-giving medical treatments.    

In addition, ASCF raises funds dedicated to independent, cutting-edge breast cancer research at Huntsman Cancer Institute so that breast cancer can be eradicated, allowing women all over the world to live long, healthy, and productive lives.  Since the beginning of our partnership with Huntsman Cancer Foundation, $322,000 has been raised and given to HCF for this important life-saving work. 

Peter Stirba started the Anne Stirba Cancer Foundation in honor and memory of his wife, Anne, a Third District Court Judge. Anne lost her courageous, ten-year battle with breast cancer in 2001, but her legacy continues in her beautiful daughters, Emily and Melissa and in the Foundation and the work she inspired.
