Junior Achievement's K-12th programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, demonstrating the economic value of staying in school. These classroom-based, volunteer-led programs use experiential learning to inspire students to dream big and reach their potential; at the elementary school level, children learn how they can impact the world around them as individuals, workers and consumers and continues through the middle and high school grades by preparing students for additional key economic and workforce issues they will face in the future. We achieve through collaborative business and education partnerships, and community volunteers. It is the dedicated passion of our volunteers that brings JA to life. You can make an impact on the young people in our community by volunteering for JA - no experience necessary! We'll provide everything you need succeed: program materials (kit), volunteer training & support, classroom match, program insurance, and recognition for a job well done!
