We're building a world where people do not live in the shadows. 

The immigration system in this country is broken. Deportations are at an all-time high under president Obama, and our community members are being targeted for deportation by the blending of immigration and police. The constant threat of deportation creates conditions of abuse, where workers are forced to work for less, become easy targets for corrupt employers or police officers.

Despite President Obama's recent announcement providing relief for up to 4 million immigrants from fear of deportation, we have a long way to go. We see this as one achievement of a much longer struggle, led by those directly impacted.

We must build together to achieve meaningful justice for all. Our vision is to stop the systems of injustice that target immigrants by stopping deportations, uniting families, breaking down barriers to equality, and building a powerful community-led organization that will defend racial, social and economic justice in Massachusetts.

Directly impacted people building power and taking action together will make Massachusetts a place where all families feel safe and protected, and live with freedom from fear.
