We know all too well the effects autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders can have on a family.  We provide financial assistance to bridge the gap between what families and individuals can afford and what they need to live their lives to the fullest potential through our Giving Awards Program (GAP).  We also provide funding for diagnostic evaluations through the University Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment.

Our supports include a monthly family support group.  This includes parent-to-parent support, resources and educational workshops that help families with their daily struggles.

We partner with other organizations to provide siblings (8-13) of children with any disability with opportunities for peer support.  We plan a wide range of activities that focus on the brothers and sisters who will most likely have the longest lasting relationship with the person who has special needs. 

We facilitate connections between families and tutors or respite caregivers.  We have a great resource list of providers in Northern Nevada.  If we are unable to help, we know someone that can.
