Domestic violence is an epidemic in our society and a public health and safety concern. A child's exposure to domestic abuse is the strongest risk factor for transmitting violent behavior from one generation to the next.  Awareness is the first step in enacting change and the Man Up Crusade is dedicated to breaking the cycle of violence.

The Man Up Crusade launched its campaign in Idaho in 2012 by bringing a "purple" night to professional rodeo events. Across the nation the color purple and the purple ribbon has been adopted to show support for victims and advocates to honor those who have lost their lives at the hands of someone they once loved. It is our goal make "purple" recognized for domestic violence in a way that pink is recognized for breast cancer.

In 2015 the Man Up Crusade is partnering with multiple rodeo's, bull riding events and state/county fairs across nine states.

By joining the Crusade your donation will help keep our program moving across the nation.  Together, through education, awareness and community service programs we can take a stand against domestic violence.

1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men will experience domestic violence.

On average 3 women and 1 man are murdered every day in this country by their domestic partner.

Boys who witness domestic violence in the home are twice as likely to become abusers.

Almost 50% of all police calls are for domestic violence.

Domestic Violence is an epidemic affecting individuals in every community regardless of age, economic status, race, religion, nationality or educational background
